These Terms and Conditions apply to all transactions between Adapt Outdoors and yourself. They do not affect your statutory rights. Contained in the terms and conditions are details of current regulations governing online shopping. Please read them carefully as they contain important information. If you intend to purchase from our site, we recommend that you print a copy of these terms and conditions. We reserve the right to change, modify, substitute, or remove, without notice, any information on this site as necessary.

We may change these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will take effect on the date they are posted on our website. These Terms and Conditions are governed by English law and are subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts. We do not accept amendments to these Terms and Conditions. Failure by us to enforce any of these Terms and Conditions will not affect our right to enforce the rest of these terms and conditions.

There may be legal notices on other areas of this Website that relate to your use of this Website, such as our Privacy Policy and our Security Policy, all of which will, together with these Terms and Conditions govern your use of this Website.

Orders and Products

All products are subject to availability. The stock levels displayed on our website are live, but occasionally errors can occur in our stock control systems. We will inform you as soon as possible if the goods you have ordered are not available. Every effort is made to ensure the colours and images depicted on the site match as closely as possible those of the actual product. Due to technical limitations, some colours may vary.

Orders received by 12.00pm will be shipped same day. Orders received after 12.00pm will still be shipped that day, if possible, but we can’t guarantee it. If errors occur in our warehousing stock control system and an item/s are not available or delayed, you will be informed by us as soon as possible with an alternative offer or a refund.

All orders placed on our website will be acknowledged electronically by e-mail. Please note that verbal and/or electronic acknowledgements do not constitute order confirmation or order acceptance

Orders received at the weekend and bank holidays are shipped on the next working day.


All prices are inclusive of VAT but exclusive of delivery charges which will be payable as indicated at the time the order is placed. We are entitled to make adjustments to the price to take account of any increase in our suppliers' prices, the imposition of any taxes or duties; or if due to an error or omission.

All special offer prices are subject to availability and at the discretion of Adapt Outdoors Ltd. Adapt Outdoors Ltd. reserves the right to withdraw the sale of a product at any time, should they see fit.

Occasionally promotions and promotional prices will run temporarily (eg. while stocks last) and can be withdrawn at any time by Adapt Outdoors Ltd.

Discounts in our shop and on our website are applied to the products Recommended Retail Price (RRP).

Although we endeavour to ensure that all pricing information on the website is accurate, occasionally an error may occur and goods may be mispriced. If we discover a pricing error we will, at our discretion: either contact you and ask you whether you wish to cancel your order or continue with the order at the correct price; or notify you that we have cancelled your order. We will not be obliged to supply goods at the incorrect price.

On occasion, the prices payable and promotions offered in respect of goods advertised on the website may differ from those prices and promotions offered at the same time in our shop. We are under no obligation to honour any shop price or promotion in the event that they differ from those on the website. Similarly, our shop is under no obligation to honour any website price or promotion in the event that they differ from those in the shop.

Methods of Payment

You can pay for Products ordered on our Website by debit or credit card, or by PayPal. We accept the following cards: Visa and Mastercard credit cards and Maestro, Delta, and Visa Electron debit cards. When placing an order, the billing address given must be input so it matches the same as that registered with your credit card company. To process your order more efficiently, we also request valid telephone and email contact details to be used in case of query. Credit card payments are processed by Sage Pay.

If you pay for Products using PayPal, to confirm your identity and ensure your PayPal account is not being used without your consent, we will despatch the order to the verified address of the Paypal account holder. By using PayPal as a payment method, you consent to additional checks being made and confirm that the PayPal account being used is yours. All PayPal payments are subject to authorisation by PayPal.

Order Cancellations

Under the UK Distance Selling Regulations you have the right to cancel your order for any item purchased from Adapt Outdoors for a full refund.

However, if your order has already been processed, you will need to return the order to us. Please read the Return or Exchange an item section below.

Return or Exchange an item

We hope that you are happy with your order from Adapt Outdoors, but we understand that you may want to return your purchase if it is unsuitable or if you have changed your mind. If you wish to return your purchase as it is unsuitable or if you have changed your mind we can offer a refund or exchange providing the product/s have been purchased within the last 30 days and are the product/s is its original condition and unused (including all label, tags and Boxes). Please include the completed Returns Note that would have been included in your parcel or ensure a note is included with your return with your order name, address, order number and a brief reason of return and action required (Refund/Exchange). For items returned that are not suitable, the Customer is responsible for the Return Carriage cost.

If the item you received is faulty, please contact customer services on 0151 7087006 or customerservices@adaptoutdoors.comquoting your order number, your name and address, details of the product and the reason for return, and whether you require a refund or a replacement. We will then advise on how to proceed with the return. You have 30 days from receipt of the faulty item to return it to us.

If the item you received is not what you originally ordered, please contact customer services on 0151 7087006 or customerservices@adaptoutdoors.comquoting your order number, your name and address, details of the product and the reason for return, and whether you require a refund or a replacement. We will then advise on how to proceed with the return.

(Exemptions) PPE (Facemasks, Climbing Equipment etc ), Food products, Socks & Underwear can only be returned if everything is exactly as it was received. Packaging and labelling must be intact and underwear must be unworn. If there is any sign or possibility that the goods have been used, tampered with, or contaminated in any way then we regret that we are unable to accept a return on the grounds of consumer safety.

Faulty Items: If you feel that your item has a manufacturing defect or fault and it is still under warranty, please contact customer services on 0151 7087006 or customerservices@adaptoutdoors.comwith as much information as possible with regards to the fault, including photos if applicable.

Please include a completed returns note with as much detail as possible and include it with your item.

We cannot make any decisions prior to inspecting any claim. Should the item be found genuinely faulty we aim to reach a fair and agreed solution, which may be a refund, a replacement, or a professional repair.

Please note that we may need to send the item to the original supplier or a fully certified testing company to seek an independent and professional assessment; this process can take up to four weeks. Also note that zips are typically not covered under a manufacturer's warranty.

For health and safety purposes all items returned must be in a clean and dry condition and be free from dirt: unclean items will be sent back to you. Failure to follow the Warranty Returns procedure may significantly affect our ability to process your return and cause a delay in issuing your refund/replacement/repair.

You can also return internet purchases at the Adapt Outdoors store at 10 Williamson Street, Liverpool, L11EB. To speed things along, please bring the Sales Invoice we sent via email as proof of purchase.

If you choose to receive a refund, this will be processed separately by our Customer Support Team.

You may exchange product(s) at the shop for Goods of an equal or higher value for which you will receive a new receipt.

Liability Statement

Climbing, mountaineering, hillwalking, skiing, snowboarding, canoeing, cycling and other related activities are potentially hazardous. It is the individual's own responsibility to learn and understand the proper techniques associated with safe participation in these activities and to fully accept and assume all risks, damages, injury or death which may result from the use of the items posted on the Adapt Outdoors Ltd internet sites.

Email Policy

Adapt Outdoors Ltd does not conduct "spam" marketing campaigns or condone UCE. We do however send out email shots from time to time for large events such as shows, sales and major company related news. The only email addresses we keep on record for these email shots are from our own customers who did not 'opt-out' before the December 2003 Legislation or those who 'opted-in' after that date. This list includes online shoppers, competition entrants, catalogue subscribers and those who have specifically signed-up for mailing list purposes.


If you are unhappy with our service for any reason, please let us know. We aim to deal with all complaints as effectively as possible in a fair, confidential, easy to use, speedy and informative manner. Knives and Blades

It is an offence for any person under the age of 18 years to purchase most kinds of knives. We shall only supply knives and related equipment to customers over the age of 18 years and for instore and click and collect purchases only. We will also ask for production of valid ID in store prior to releasing the product/s. The sale of knives and bladed articles are regulated by law and subject to these Terms. We reserve the right to refuse the sale if we have reasonable cause to believe you are below the age of 18 years, or if we believe that the supply of Goods to you may infringe the law or present an unacceptable potential risk to the safety of others. Our main goal is to promote the safe use of the specialist tools and for this reason, we always take steps to ensure that our knives and tools are promoted in a responsible manner.
